Dear Emmit:
"I am writing to tell you how impressed I am with the
caliber of your operation. Let me first try to paint a
picture of me before having your K-Guard gutters installed
on my house. It is pouring down rain, lightening and
thundering. I look out my back door to see water pouring in
front of it. Downspout backed up again. Wait, it gets
better. I put on my raincoat, go to the shed, and get my
15-foot metal drain snake to go clear it out. No, I did not
have a death wish. I just knew I did not want my trim to rot
from standing water, and did not realize how truly
affordable the solution to my problem would be. So every
rainstorm for four years, I have been the human lightening
rod.
I was having some upgrades done to my house - vinyl wrap,
replacement windows - and was honestly not planning on
putting gutters on my house again. One of your salesmen has
been a friend of my family for years, and one evening while
my house was being worked on, he just planted the seed.
Well, I kicked it around in my head for a couple of days and
one evening asked him to come over and measure and give me a
quote. He came over after working hours, but was just as
professional as if it was 9:00am. He measured, showed me
some pictures of your work, and spent the time with my wife
and me to make us feel comfortable with the purchase. It was
about 9:00pm before he left that evening.
Your production manager called me the next day to make an
appointment for installation. I was not home, so he left me
a message. I believe I also called him on his cell after
business hours and he too sounded happy to hear from me, and
scheduled an appointment.
The day of installation came and when I got home, I could
not even tell anyone had been at my house except for the
shiny, new gutters on it. As luck would have it, we got a
downpour that evening about two hours after I got home. I
put on my raincoat, went to the shed, got my ladder and
climbed up just as I had done every storm for the last four
years. Only this final time, I just had to watch them in
action. It was beautiful. Honestly Emmit, I do not think I
have ever felt so good about a purchase. Not even a hint of
buyer's regret for even a second. Thank you for providing a
truly incredible and superior product, and having the staff
to match the product's quality!"

Dear Sir,
I would like to take a moment to tell you about my
experience with your sales staff from Tidewater Gutters in
Midlothian/Richmond, Virginia.
We first saw your product back in February at the Maymont /
MAC Show. Within a week of the show Mr. Robert Ruiz
contacted us.
Robert came out to our house and presented in detail your
Carefree "K" Guard system. To be honest I was a little
short with Robert and did not give him as much time as he
deserved, however, he remained as courteous as could be.
I then had other gutter companies come out and quote as
well. None of the other companies had near the knowledge or
the professionalism that Robert displayed.
Due to various circumstances we were not able to begin
immediately but that did not deter Robert. He would call or
mail and ask, "Are you ready for your great system of
gutters?" He was not pesty, but very thorough in his
follow-up and always most polite.
Fast forward to June and I receive a phone call from a new
salesman Dennis Kaufman telling me that he would be helping
out in the territory and would like to see if he could
answer any questions. Dennis came out yesterday and was
just as courteous, kind and professional as Robert and we
signed a contract to have our home and garage done.
If the installation is half as good as these two salesmen we
will have a GREAT experience with Tidewater Gutters.
Just a side note, your quote was not the least expensive,
however, other customers that have your "K" Guard system are
very happy with the performance of them. That could not be
said for your competitors.

you my evaluation of their work and your product.
The contacts with your people before the installation were
just what I wanted: professional, courteous, honest and
straightforward. The estimator presented your product and
projected installation service perfectly. Then, mail and
phone contacts by your production manager left no doubts at
all about the project.
On installation day, your trucks arrived and the men 'hit
the ground running'! There was no delay, no discussion, no
'fooling around'. Each man obviously knew his particular
job, and started it immediately. This business-like attitude
prevailed throughout the installation and cleanup. There was
never any doubt or concern in my mind about whether they
were doing their job well.
During the entire project, not a word of vulgar or profane
language was heard, nor was there any loud or offensive
behavior of any kind (no boom box on the roof to disturb the
entire neighborhood, as I have experienced with other
companies). The men were extremely courteous and were
constantly working.
I had an opportunity to observe the work of another team of
your people. A minor mistake was made installing the gutters
around a flat roof, and a second team was called in to
evaluate and fix the problem. Again, these men arrived at
the same solution to the problem I would have made, and did
the job in a superior fashion. The area fixed is actually in
better condition, by far, than it was before the mistake.
The handling of this event says much about the integrity of
your company.
I will recommend your company to anyone who needs roof or
